Recent reports from CNN claim that Trump’s military strategy, particularly the use of bunker-buster bombs against Iranian nuclear facilities, did not achieve the intended effect. But not everyone agrees with this assessment, including Senator Ted Cruz, who recently spoke out against these allegations.
In an emphatic defense of President Trump’s actions, Senator Cruz pointed out that the results of the military operation were nothing less than “spectacular.” He highlighted that seven B-2 bombers successfully dropped 14 massive 30,000-pound bombs on three Iranian sites. The best part? Not a single American soldier was harmed in the operation. Cruz praised the bravery and precision of the American servicemen and women who executed this mission, emphasizing its effectiveness in crippling Iran’s nuclear ambitions. He argued that with the ongoing threats posed by Iran, especially the Ayatollah’s aggressive anti-American rhetoric, it’s puzzling that anyone would not support actions that aim to protect American lives. The Ayatollah’s ambitions for intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs) are not lost on Cruz. He sees them as a direct threat, and if the Ayatollah truly means to destroy America, then the work done lately by Trump to neutralize those threats should be cheered instead of ridiculed.

Instead of finding camaraderie in protecting the nation, it seems many in the opposition are more focused on partisan blame.
