Houston Texans wide receiver Tank Dell has been released from the hospital after being caught up in a terrible shooting incident in Florida. The incident occurred at a private event hosted by the restaurant Cabana Live, where a 16-year-old gunman opened fire, injuring ten people, including Dell. Despite the harrowing experience, Dell is said to be in good spirits and is now resting at home.
The Texans organization has issued a statement confirming Dell’s involvement in the shooting and has asked for privacy for him and his family at this time. Law enforcement was able to quickly apprehend the suspected shooter, who is now in custody at a juvenile detention center. The victims of the shooting are reportedly planning to press charges.

Prior to this incident, Dell had been recovering from a previous injury and had put up impressive numbers in his rookie season. He played a crucial role in the Texans’ successful season, which culminated in a division title. The team and Dell’s fans are undoubtedly relieved that he has been able to avoid any serious harm.
