Christian, a young man who found himself in a perilous predicament, experienced a night that started out like any other but quickly turned into a life-or-death scenario. Christian went to bed at a reasonable hour, but around 3:00 AM, he was jolted awake by the booming sounds of thunder. Initially, he thought it was just a typical storm, but that notion quickly faded when he heard unusual noises resonating from deeper within his home. As he swung his feet over the side of the bed, a cold shock hit his senses—he was standing in water up to his ankles! Immediate panic set in, and his instinct to investigate kicked in.
