It’s a blatant power grab masked as caring.
Here’s the kicker. Walz’s state has seen horrific violence—mass shootings like the one at a Catholic school that devastated families, and a shocking attack on Democratic lawmakers in Minnesota. Yet his answer isn’t tougher law enforcement or cracking down on actual criminals. Instead, he wants to punish responsible gun owners and drag them through a government data gauntlet.
