It’s happening again, folks! The Trump administration is once again stepping up to the plate to save the day, halting the closure of a crucial coal plant in Colorado. This time, they’re up against Gov. Jared Polis and his radical leftist agenda. Polis is throwing a fit, claiming repairing the plant is just too pricey. But as usual with Democrats, if you scratch the surface, you find a lie.
Let’s face it. If the plant closed, Coloradans would be stuck with the so-called “green” energy. The very energy that is costly, inefficient, and oh so predictably inadequate during those bitter winters and blazing summers. Remember the rolling blackouts not too long ago? They were painful reminders of what happens when liberal politicians like Polis impose unrealistic green fantasies on everyday Americans.

The Trump administration knows better. Energy Secretary Chris Wright issued an emergency order to keep the coal plant running. It’s a simple strategy for keeping America’s power supply secure and reliable. Colorado’s energy grid depends on it, folks. Without it, locals would be caught in the dark, forever paying the price of misguided liberal policies that favor ideologies over people.
It’s about time someone showed backbone against these environmental charades. Reports indicate a looming crisis of electricity shortages without firm power sources. Yet, Polis and his pals would rather push their pet green projects than admit the truth. The hypocrisy from the left is nauseating. They shut down coal plants and then whine when the lights go out. Perhaps they want everyone in the Stone Age so they can distribute candles to their woke constituency.
So, hats off to the Trump administration for putting American energy needs first. Once again, they’re prioritizing the interests of hardworking citizens over the utopian dreams of liberals gone wild. Maybe next time Polis is shivering in the dark, he’ll wish for a little dirty coal heat. When real lives are at stake, blind ideology shouldn’t get a seat at the table.
