Musk initially opposed parts of Trump’s tax policy, probably peeved about having his gravy train of EV rebates pulled away. But he must have realized the wisdom in Trump’s approach. Despite past conflicts, Musk relocated Tesla’s headquarters to Texas, a state that understands business and innovation without crushing regulations. It’s telling who Musk supports in elections. Hardly a surprise, he bankrolled Trump’s reelection efforts, understanding a strong economy hinges on choice and smart policy, not socialist dreams.
This burgeoning friendship between Trump and Musk signals a broader realization that we can’t afford to chase after Biden’s disastrous energy policies. Does anyone really want to be stuck in the dark, charging an electric car while our country plunges deeper into chaos?
