The political establishment is throwing a fit because President Trump and Vice President J.D. Vance did not show up for the funeral of former Vice President Dick Cheney. The liberal media and its cronies in Washington love to paint this as some grand disrespect. But let’s cut through the noise. They ignore that Trump is signaling a bold new era for the Republican Party, one that distances itself from the neoconservative past that vegetates over endless wars and globalist compromises.
For decades, Dick Cheney embodied the Washington, D.C., elite, pushing foreign interventions and policies that have left Americans questioning the cost of endless wars. Trump and Vance are right not to play these games. They are prioritizing what real Americans care about—jobs, safety, and freedom. Isn’t it time we focus more on America and less on pandering to the old guard that failed us?

The left fawns over Cheney now, acting like he’s some paragon of virtue because it suits their narrative. Just compare how they once vilified him. This hypocrisy only shows the anti-American sentiment bubbling just beneath their talking points. The liberal establishment says jump, and they expect everyone to ask how high. Trump and Vance just won’t dance to their tune.
Some might say that funerals should be beyond politics. But isn’t it the liberals who politicize everything, weaponizing every event to virtue signal? They can’t preach unity and then cry wolf when conservatives choose to steer away from their scripted unity rallies. What happened to respecting different choices and perspectives?
This funeral snub sends a clear message. We have no more time for the old ways that got us into unnecessary conflicts overseas and domestic chaos. Why appease the very people who’ve been trying to tear the country apart? It’s better to have fewer handshakes with those who’ve failed us and more actions toward America First policies. When will they realize there’s a new sheriff in town?
