Former President Donald Trump took to Truth Social to express his frustration with New York Supreme Court Judge Arthur Engoron and the ongoing prosecution of the 2024 GOP frontrunner. Trump accused Engoron of targeting his children and called him a disgrace to the legal profession. In a fiery post, Trump criticized the trial brought by the New York State A.G. Letitia James and referred to the so-called star witness, Michael Cohen, as a “sleazebag lawyer.” Trump argued that the case should be dismissed based on Cohen’s admission that he lied on the stand. He also disputed the valuation of his Mar-a-Lago property and claimed that there were no victims in the case except himself.
Donald Trump Jr. testified in Engoron’s courtroom while posting memes, with one meme being related to the recent ‘Bootgate’ scandal involving Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. Eric Trump is scheduled to testify on Thursday, and Ivanka Trump will testify on Friday, despite not being a defendant in the case.

In subsequent posts, Trump continued to criticize Engoron, calling him a political hack who ruled against him before the trial even started. He accused Engoron of doing the dirty work for the Democratic Party and expressed frustration at not being given the option of a jury. Trump concluded by stating that Engoron is “crazy, totally unhinged, and dangerous” and claimed that the judicial system has gone to hell.
Melania Trump, the former First Lady, has not been asked to testify at this time but reportedly shares her husband’s view that these legal issues are “election interference by his political rivals.” This case has clearly become a battleground between Trump and his opponents, with both sides engaging in heated rhetoric and accusations.
