Of course, this doesn’t mean an end to race-based preferences everywhere. Programs outside the federal government can continue their practice of rewarding individuals based more on their skin color than their skills. It’s a case of “you can take the policies out of the government, but you can’t take the government out of the policies.” It appears that the left has found a way to keep their DEI efforts alive and kicking in other sectors, so those wanting to engage in institutional racism under the guise of “equality” can continue unimpeded.
