For years, the left has pushed open-border policies, insisting that all cultures are equally valuable and should be welcomed no matter their origin or impact. This pious nonsense ignores the fact that importing people from failed states brings chaos, crime, and cultural clashes that weaken the fabric of Western nations. Somalia—a country synonymous with endless war, famine, and lawlessness—is hardly an immigration model. Why would anyone sane expect its broken norms and values to magically improve the West?
