President Trump is once again showing what real leadership looks like. On Friday, he took bold action by demanding all federal agencies begin shutting the door on Anthropic technology. Why? Because Anthropic couldn’t keep its own house in order. Instead of working with the government to keep America safe, the company got caught up in a public spat with the Pentagon over the basics—like whether their artificial intelligence is even safe to use.
Let’s not sugarcoat it. Too many of these tech companies have gotten soft, arrogant, and cozy with the same leftist ideologues who want to lecture the rest of us about “ethics” while they rake in government dollars. Anthropic’s recent meltdown showed that its priorities are somewhere between profit and wokeness—not protecting American interests. Trump saw right through it. He acted, while the bureaucrats twiddled their thumbs.

It’s about time someone stood up to the Silicon Valley cabal and their globalist friends. For years, these companies saw the federal dollar signs and thought they could have it all—total power, zero accountability, and a guaranteed government payday. But the second they have to answer tough questions about their technology, they throw a public tantrum, run to the press, and start whining about “safety.” Give me a break.
This is exactly the incompetence that got us into trouble in the first place. Liberal elites love to preach about “responsibility,” but when it’s time to actually be responsible—when real national security is on the line—they’re nowhere to be found. Instead, they’ll denounce Trump for daring to put America first, as if it’s some kind of moral failing—the hypocrisy reeks.
Trump’s order is a wake-up call. America can’t afford to trust critical government operations to companies more interested in throwing shade at the Pentagon than keeping our people safe. If so-called tech innovators want to meddle in politics and start feuds instead of focusing on security, then they can take their business elsewhere. Maybe China or Europe wants their drama. Here in America, we put country before ego—and President Trump just reminded everyone who’s really in charge.
