In the latest twist in the ongoing legal saga involving former President Trump, his legal team has hit back at a New York judge’s ruling that has left the ex-president on the hook for a whopping $350 million in damages. The conservative giant, Trump, found himself in hot water in a civil fraud case led by New York’s Attorney General, Letitia James.

Judge Arthur Engoron dropped the hammer, laying down the law and finding the Trump family and the Trump Organization guilty of various charges, including some heavy hitters like “persistent and repeated fraud,” “falsifying business records,” and even “conspiracy to commit insurance fraud.” But come on, these charges sound like something out of a bad TV show!
The judge took aim at Trump during the trial, criticizing his “evasive responses” and his penchant for going off on unrelated tangents. But hey, who can blame the man for wanting to set the record straight and defend himself against these baseless accusations?
Trump’s legal eagle, Christopher Kise, isn’t taking this lying down. He’s barking up the appeal tree, calling out the court’s decision as “unjust” and “politically motivated.” And let’s be real here, folks, we all know the left-leaning judges are out for blood when it comes to Trump.
And let’s not forget the draconian penalties James’ office was pushing for – a five-year loan ban on Trump and his sons and restricting the Trump Organization from doing real estate business in the Big Apple. Talk about overkill! It’s like they want to bury the man under a mountain of legal paperwork.
