In regard to the 2024 ballot positioning of former President Donald Trump, legal proceedings have been initiated by the attorneys for Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson on the grounds that she failed to reply to their correspondence. The attorneys contend that the absence of a response from Benson is impeding Trump's ability to allocate resources efficiently and is a source of uncertainty.

The attorneys emphasize Benson's affiliation with the opposing political party and her adverse perspectives on Trump in their 63-page document, contending that these factors amplify the existing ambiguity. It is noted that Michigan has witnessed endeavors to obstruct the nomination of Trump on the ballot through the invocation of the 14th Amendment as a reason for disqualification. Benson, on the other hand, has rejected these efforts, claiming that she lacks the authority to ascertain eligibility.
Concurrently, a Colorado trial is being conducted to ascertain the soundness of the disqualification argument under the Fourteenth Amendment. A defense attorney in the Colorado trial presented an argument against Trump's re-election as president, invoking the Constitution as evidence of his disqualification.
In response to this contention, Scott Gessler, an attorney for Trump, asserted that mere verbal incitement does not automatically translate into active participation in an insurrection.
The occurrences in Michigan and Colorado are indicative of a more extensive national campaign to disqualify Trump from the ballot on account of his participation in the January 6th Capitol disturbance. Notwithstanding these obstacles, Trump's popularity as the Republican presidential nominee continues to increase, with his lead over his rivals expanding in proximity to the state primary elections and caucuses.
It is evident that liberal politicians, including Jocelyn Benson, are collaborating in an effort to tarnish the political prospects of Donald Trump. Their attempts to disqualify him from the ballot on the basis of specious arguments and their refusal to respond to correspondence are nothing more than desperate attempts to stifle his influence. This further exemplifies the extent to which liberals are willing to suppress conservative viewpoints. Nevertheless, despite these strategies, the American public remains resolute in their support for Trump. It is time for conservatives to defend the integrity of our democratic process and stand up to these unjust attacks.
