Trump Fires Two Dems from EEOC in Bold Swamp-Draining Move

The Biden administration might still be pretending to run the show, but President Trump is staging an executive coup—and he’s just getting warmed up. This week, he fired two Democratic commissioners from the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), proving that swamp-draining is not just a catchphrase but a thrilling sport for the Trump team. Charlotte Burrows and Jocelyn Samuels thought they could hold on to their cushy government jobs, but the cold, hard truth is that their time in the limelight has come to an end.

Upon receiving their termination notices, these two former commissioners were quick to whine about how their firing violates the law and misunderstands the nature of the EEOC as an independent agency. It’s amusing, really. They claim that the commission was intended to function under a multi-member approach, as if holding hands in a circle of non-partisanship ever really worked out in the political world. In reality, their removal isn’t a misunderstanding; it’s more like a firm reminder that an administration focused on accountability isn’t going to keep around those who cater to progressive ideals that most Americans disagree with.

Samuels went the extra mile, ranting about how firing her and Burrows disrupts the “stability and continuity” of the EEOC’s vital work. Stability? It would seem their attempt to impose radical diversity, equity, and inclusion measures on private businesses was anything but stable. After all, enforcing compliance on multi-gender bathroom policies hardly screams fair treatment or equal opportunity to the average American. Apparently, the notion that businesses should operate based on traditional principles fell flat with Samuels, who would rather push personal agendas than uphold the dignity of American workers.

In what can only be described as an Oscar-worthy performance, Samuels also lamented the Trump administration’s “demonization of transgender individuals.” It’s almost as if she believes that her shattered approach to inclusivity should be the gold standard for all discussions about employment rights. Meanwhile, the administration’s critics have conveniently ignored that the EEOC’s own policies have often led to legitimate complaints of discrimination. The latest guidance from the commission, which makes it easier for employees to cry foul over any disagreement about gender identity, not only complicates workplace dynamics but opens the door for endless litigation.

According to a White House official, the former commissioners were nothing more than “far-left appointees,” and rightly so. Their ideologies reflected a radical agenda that goes against the grain of American values. The official pointed out that these two had no business occupying leadership roles in an administration directly elected to upend their kind of thinking. As the average American might say, if they want to fight that hard for radical changes, they should take it up in the private sector, not force it upon everyone through their government roles.
