The mainstream media loves to cry foul every time a conservative administration holds unelected bureaucrats accountable. Now the left is throwing another tantrum because—brace yourselves—the Trump team dared to fire not one, but two National Transportation Safety Board members in less than a year. You would think the world had ended if you listened to the liberal talking heads in the press.
Todd Inman, the latest to get the boot, was supposedly leading investigations into the awful UPS cargo plane crash in Kentucky and the horrific midair collision between a passenger jet and an Army helicopter. Both disasters left dozens of Americans dead. But let’s be real: these kinds of government “investigators” always have fancy titles and zero results. If these so-called experts were actually keeping our skies safe, why are we facing such devastating accidents in the first place?

When conservatives demand accountability, liberals scream that it’s a “purge” or a “danger to democracy.” How convenient! The left never wants to admit that bloated agencies like the NTSB, packed with bureaucrats loyal to globalist interests or the previous administration, slack off on the job. But heaven forbid a president steps in to clean house and put America first—then suddenly it’s a national crisis!
The same left-wingers who whine about people losing their cushy government jobs have no problem destroying ordinary Americans’ livelihoods with endless regulations and green energy pipe dreams. They want to protect the Swamp, not the people. This isn’t about safety—it’s about holding on to power and pushing an agenda that puts Americans last.
Keep letting these bureaucrats shuffle papers and collect taxpayer money with no consequences and see where that leads us. Maybe Todd Inman should have done a better job and shown some real results instead of hiding behind his title. When a president stands up and demands accountability, the only real question is: why aren’t more government hacks getting pink slips?
