In yet another episode of leftist lunacy targeting their favorite bogeyman, former President Donald Trump’s Turnberry golf course in Scotland has been vandalized by pro-Palestine activists. It is as if a playbook exists with the sole purpose of creating chaos wherever Trump sets foot. Red paint has become the weapon of choice for these misguided individuals, who apparently believe that their feelings matter more than basic respect for private property.
The incidents occurred on March 8, where one can only imagine the amount of planning that went into defacing property that has more class in its bathroom than most of these vandals do in their entire lives. Ugly slogans like “Gaza is not for sale” adorned the greens, and let’s not forget the delightful message of destruction that greeted patrons at the Trump Turnberry—because nothing says “I care about human rights” like digging up a golf course. A 33-year-old man has been charged, along with a couple of older accomplices who presumably should know better but decided to play the fool anyway.

Law enforcement managed to nab the suspects soon after the incident, and it is clear that even in Scotland, the wheels of justice are slowly turning. Trump personally expressed his gratitude to UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer for apprehending the “terrorists” responsible for the attack. Interestingly, the definition of terrorism seems to adapt when it comes to acts that are hard to justify, such as vandalism dressed up as activism. Most rational people would agree that such behavior reflects poorly on the perpetrators and should carry consequences as serious as the crime itself.
Just days after the vandalism in Scotland, Trump International Golf Links in Doonbeg, Ireland, also succumbed to similar attention-seeking antics when Palestinian flags were thrust into the ground like unsolicited wedding invitations. These incidents, occurring conveniently just before St. Patrick’s Day, raise questions not only about timing but also about who stands to benefit from these poorly veiled tantrums. It seems clear that while the Irish Prime Minister was busy shaking hands at the White House, radical activists opted to make their presence felt with yet another episode of senseless vandalism.
Now, beyond the shenanigans aimed specifically at Trump, it appears that even Tesla facilities in the United States have not been spared from similar fits of mischief due to Elon Musk’s collaboration with the Trump administration. It remains astonishing how the left finds time to unleash outrage both here and across the pond when they could instead focus their energies on more constructive endeavors—like gardening or perhaps learning basic etiquette.
While brainless acts of vandalism may be entertaining in a darkly comedic sort of way, the real takeaway is that the level of hostility aimed at any property or founder associating with Trump speaks volumes about the current climate of political discourse. Every act of destruction reveals the fragile psyche of individuals who feel justified in their means but completely ignorant of the message they’re trying to convey.
