In the midst of chaos in Los Angeles, where anarchic forces have taken control, President Trump has stepped up to do what the Democrats have failed to accomplish: restore law and order. Leftist activists, driven by a misguided sense of righteousness, are illegally obstructing federal immigration operations. What else is new? It’s just another episode in the series of California’s descent into lawlessness, spotlighting the abject failure of Democratic leadership.
California’s so-called sanctuary policies have turned cities into safe havens for illegal criminals. When President Trump sees mobs attacking law enforcement, he doesn’t shrug and send thoughts and prayers. He acts. He deployed 2,000 National Guard troops to safeguard not only the ICE officers but the very principle of American law.
And of course, Governor Gavin Newsom is throwing a fit. He calls it inflammatory. To him, securing borders and ensuring safety is merely spectacle. This is the same governor who would rather let chaos reign in the streets than admit his disastrous policies are to blame. Words are Newsom’s weapon of choice, half truths his armor—yet no action follows.
While Newsom waits for a miracle to resolve his self-created mess, President Trump takes decisive action. The president isn’t interested in political theater. Trump’s decisive actions are about protecting Americans and upholding the law.
Imagine a state where leaders prioritized safety over pandering to globalists and activist mobs. If Newsom can’t or won’t do it, Trump will. Californians deserve leaders who value them over political games. America needs more of Trump’s bold resolve and less of Newsom’s dithering. Isn’t it time the Democrats stopped pretending and started protecting their citizens?
