Former President Donald Trump is showing strong support in Florida, leaving current President Joe Biden in the dust! The latest Emerson College survey reveals that Trump is enjoying a double-digit lead over Biden in the Sunshine State, where more and more folks are leaning towards the GOP. The survey asked Floridians who they would vote for in a hypothetical 2024 presidential match-up between Biden and Trump, and it’s clear that Trump is the preferred choice.
In the survey, a whopping 54 percent of Florida respondents expressed disapproval of Biden’s performance as president. Ouch! Talk about a wake-up call for ol’ Joe. Not only has he failed to win over the majority of Floridians, but Trump continues to maintain a strong lead, with 51 percent of respondents saying they would support him, compared to only 38 percent for Biden. That’s a 13 percentage point difference – better luck next time, Joe!

Even when involving third-party candidates like Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Cornel West, and Jill Stein, Trump still comes out on top with 49 percent support in the matchup. Biden, on the other hand, only managed to secure 35 percent. It’s crystal clear that Trump is the preferred choice for Floridians, and it’s no surprise given the state’s Republican trend.
And as if that wasn’t enough, Florida is showing increasing Republican dominance, with Governor Ron DeSantis boasting about a potential one million voter registration advantage for the GOP. The Republican Party of Florida has even declared the state as “solid red,” leaving the Democrats in the dust. Republican Chairman Evan Power made it clear that the GOP won’t rest on its laurels, working tirelessly to secure Florida’s electoral votes for none other than President Trump.
With growing Republican voter registration numbers and a weary attitude toward Biden’s shaky leadership, it’s clear that Floridians are not messing around when it comes to their political preferences. If Biden wants a chance in 2024, he’s got some serious work to do. Tick tock, Joe! Time’s a tickin’.
