Trump Skips Debate Night for High-Energy Florida Rally!

Former President Donald Trump has decided to skip the third Republican debate and instead attend a rally in Florida. Trump took to his favorite social media platform, Truth Social, to share the news with his followers. The rally, which is expected to run through the duration of the debate, will take place on November 8, less than a year before the 2024 general election.

While Trump is the front-runner for the Republican nomination, he did not attend the first two debates either. During the first debate, he had a conflicting interview with Tucker Carlson, who had recently been fired from Fox News. A recent poll revealed that 51% of Trump’s supporters disapproved of his absence from the second debate, while 49% believed it was the right decision. Interestingly, 43% of respondents said they were more likely to vote for Trump after the debate.

The third debate will feature only a handful of candidates, including Gov. Ron DeSantis, former Gov. Nikki Haley, and entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy. Out of the 13 candidates vying for the Republican nomination, only these three have met the qualifications set by the Republican National Committee. The qualifications include showing at least 4% support in two polls and meeting a higher threshold for individual contributions.

It seems like the Republicans just can’t get along with each other. With candidates dropping out, endorsements being made, and Trump choosing to skip debates, it’s clear that the road to the nomination won’t be an easy one. As a conservative, it’s disheartening to see the party divided instead of united against the Democrats. The Republican National Committee needs to figure out a way to bring everyone together and focus on winning back the White House in 2024.
