Meanwhile, Democrats are doubling down on open borders and lawlessness. It’s nauseating to watch them trot off to El Salvador to push for the release of an alleged MS-13 gang member who was rightly deported. What sort of party champions the cause of violent criminals rather than protecting American citizens? This is the party of treasonous softness on crime and a free-for-all on immigration. Their radical-left base cheers on an invasion of illegal aliens while American communities bear the burden.

The judicial activists also play their part, blocking every reasonable effort to secure the border and uphold the rule of law. But Trump doesn’t fold under pressure.
