Another day, another shake-up in the so-called “Justice” Department. Abigail Slater, the woman at the top of the antitrust branch, is out the door. Of course, the liberal media is in a frenzy, and whispers are everywhere about whether President Trump’s team gave her the boot. Either way, let’s not pretend this is a loss for America.
For too long, bureaucrats like Slater have sat in Washington, pretending to fight for fairness while really looking out for the interests of D.C. insiders and globalist elites. The antitrust office under her watch was more worried about appeasing Big Tech and giant corporations than standing up for everyday Americans. The last thing we need is another career bureaucrat playing politics instead of actually protecting our economy.

Liberals are already crying foul, blaming Trump for “destabilizing” the DOJ. But where was their outrage when Obama’s people looked the other way as Silicon Valley giants grew more powerful? Suddenly, it’s a crisis when Trump holds his team accountable. The hypocrisy is almost funny—if it weren’t so insulting.
This “exit” is just more proof that the Trump administration won’t tolerate the same old swamp games. If you can’t put America first, there’s the door. Unlike the left’s revolving door of excuses, conservatives believe in real results and real leadership. Draining the swamp means shaking up cozy little fiefdoms like the antitrust division.
So, Abigail Slater is gone. Good riddance. Maybe—as the DOJ’s dust settles—Americans will finally get a watchdog that protects Main Street, not the billionaire class. Funny how liberals only care about “justice” when it lines their own pockets.
