America is finally stepping up in our own backyard, and it’s about time. As Secretary of State Marco Rubio heads to St. Kitts and Nevis this week, he carries one message loud and clear—the Trump administration isn’t about to let the Western Hemisphere be pushed around by socialist dictators and Iranian thugs. Let the liberals clutch their pearls, but real leadership means putting America first and telling our enemies exactly where we stand.
Just a month ago, U.S. forces took bold action in Venezuela. The days of Nicolas Maduro’s corrupt regime stealing from its own people and spitting in America’s face are over. It took guts, and Trump’s team had it. Now Rubio is making sure that the Caribbean knows the United States is the top dog, not some two-bit dictator or foreign terror sponsor. Funny how liberals want “diplomacy,” but when strong action gets real results, their silence is deafening.

The globalist elites would love nothing more than to watch U.S. influence shrink while rogue states like Iran worm their way into our hemisphere. But this administration gets it—national security isn’t a buzzword; it’s a responsibility. Rubio’s trip shows we won’t bow to foreign pressure or give up on our neighbors to appease the anti-American crowd who’d rather have the U.S. apologize for our strength.
Meanwhile, where are the Democrats? Too busy defending leftist strongmen and blaming America for problems we didn’t cause. Their talk about “peace” and “cooperation” sounds great on CNN, but it does nothing while our enemies move in. If they had their way, we’d hand the Caribbean over to the very forces that want to tear us down from within.
If you still think tough American leadership doesn’t matter, ask yourself this: Would you rather have the future of our backyard decided in Tehran, Caracas, or by the United States of America? If you want weakness, stick with the left. But if you want strength and security, there’s only one team bringing it home.
