Former President Donald Trump isn’t giving up on his mission to secure the border and protect the great state of Texas. In a bold statement, Trump declared that if he were elected president again, he would “work hand in hand” with Governor Greg Abbott to tackle the border crisis that the Biden administration seems to be ignoring.

The Supreme Court recently ruled that the Biden administration had the power to remove the concertina wire placed by Texas on the border. But Governor Abbott isn’t backing down. He maintains that Texas has every right to defend itself from the influx of illegal immigration, no matter what the federal government says.
Trump isn’t one to shy away from a fight, especially when it comes to securing our nation’s borders. He took to his new social media platform, Truth Social, to call on other states to send National Guard personnel to assist Texas. Even Democratic members of Congress have suggested that Biden should take control of the Texas National Guard, but Trump sees right through their plan.
“Biden is, unbelievably, fighting against Governor Abbott and the State of Texas, so that the invasion continues unchecked,” Trump states on Truth Social. He goes on to say that Texas has invoked the Invasion Clause of the Constitution and deserves full support to repel this dangerous influx of illegal immigrants.
The Texas Department of Public Safety has already taken control of Shelby Park in Eagle Pass, a known hotspot for illegal immigration. But why stop there? Trump urges other states to step up and deploy their National Guard to Texas. It’s time to prevent the entry of illegals and remove them back across the border where they belong.
Trump isn’t just making promises for the future; he’s ready to take action now. He boldly proclaims that on his first day in office, instead of fighting Texas, he would work hand in hand with Governor Abbott and other border states to seal the border and initiate the largest domestic deportation operation in history. Illegal immigrants should not get comfortable because they will be going home.
The numbers don’t lie. The border crisis is real and it’s worsening. In December alone, a record 302,000 illegal immigrants entered the United States via the U.S.-Mexico border. And during the first two months of fiscal year 2024, nearly 380,000 encounters with illegal immigrants have been reported. This is unacceptable and something must be done.
Trump’s commitment to securing our borders and protecting American citizens is unwavering. He understands the importance of the safety, security, and sovereignty of not only Texas but of the entire nation. It’s time for common-sense measures to be taken, and Trump is leading the charge. Let’s support Governor Abbott and all the brave Texans who are defending our country from this invasion. Together, we can make America safe again.
