Germany’s energy meltdown is a major wake-up call that President Trump had pegged accurately years ago. Back in 2018, he addressed the U.N., issuing a stark warning that Germany was hitching itself to Russia’s energy wagon, all in the name of an impractical green agenda. The German delegates audaciously snickered, yet fast forward to 2022, and Germany found itself in an energy crisis, scrambling back to coal. Who’s laughing now?
The truth is, Germany gambled on an eco-dreamland, tossing aside good sense by phasing out nuclear energy. This isn’t just a policy mistake; it’s a strategic blunder. The decision crippled their energy versatility and financially burdened them, forcing leaders to admit they messed up big time. Still, liberals and their media darlings are shockingly quiet, rather than owning up to their disastrous echo-chamber decisions.

And recently, a terrorist-caused power outage in Berlin shone a harsh spotlight on the green energy fantasy. No one wants to admit their green energy poster child is choking under its own policies. Germany should’ve stuck with nuclear, which is clean and abundant. Instead, they phased it out, and now their own Chancellor is calling it a colossal mistake.
What Germany needs—and America too—is leadership grounded in reality, not dazzled by the utopian promises of green ideologues. Policies need to make sense for people and pocketbooks, and it’s high time we stop allowing liberal fantasies to lead us on senseless wild goose chases.
When it comes to energy policy, maybe it’s about time we stop listening to the eco-babble and start putting America first. Why is it always the conservative foresight that’s dismissed until it’s too late? There’s a lesson our world desperately needs to learn, but will they?
