In a decision that shakes the foundations of justice, a Pennsylvania judge has ruled that former President Donald Trump is protected by presidential immunity and cannot be sued by an election official over his statements questioning the 2020 election results. Judge Michael Erdos of Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas made this outrageous ruling, stating that Trump’s immunity extends even to his tweets and statements made during a state Senate committee hearing.
The lawsuit was brought by James Savage, a supervisor of Pennsylvania’s voting machines, who claimed that Trump’s allegations of fraud led to death threats and heart attacks. But according to Judge Erdos, these claims are irrelevant because Trump was merely exercising his rights as the president and communicating important information to the public.
Now, let’s get one thing straight. Trump was the victim of the biggest election heist in history. There is ample evidence of irregularities in the voting process, and it is the duty of any responsible leader to address these concerns. But instead of being applauded for his efforts to protect the integrity of our elections, Trump is being dragged through the mud by vengeful liberals.
It is clear that this lawsuit is just another attempt by the radical left to silence Trump and his supporters. They cannot stand the fact that he exposed their corruption and fought tirelessly to put America first. But this ruling sets a dangerous precedent. If a former president can be sued for exercising his First Amendment rights, then no one is safe from the oppressive tyranny of the left.
Fortunately, Trump’s legal spokeswoman, Alina Habba, sees through the bogus claims of James Savage. She rightfully states that this decision upholds the principle of Presidential Immunity and allows the President to address election integrity without fear of liability. We can only hope that the rest of Savage’s meritless claims are swiftly disposed of, so Trump can continue his fight for truth and justice.
But the battle against Trump doesn’t end with this lawsuit. Special Counsel Jack Smith has indicted the former President for his constitutionally protected speech and election challenges leading up to the events of January 6th. It’s clear that this indictment is nothing more than a politically motivated attack on Trump, driven by the deep-seated hatred of the left.
Renowned constitutional attorney Jonathan Turley rightly calls out the absurdity of this indictment. He points out that Trump’s statements are protected by the First Amendment and that this indictment would eviscerate free speech. It’s a scary thought that the government could start arresting people for spreading “disinformation” in elections. Who gets to decide what’s true and what’s not? It’s a dangerous path to go down, my friends.

Turley also reminds us that the Supreme Court has repeatedly defended political leaders’ rights to speech, even when it involves lies. The case against former Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell is a prime example. His conviction was unanimously overturned, with Chief Justice John Roberts stating that prosecutors had a “boundless” definition of actions that could lead to criminal charges against political leaders. It’s clear that this indictment against Trump is politically motivated and unlikely to hold up in the highest court of the land.
This indictment only serves to further tarnish the reputation of the Justice Department and deepen the public’s belief that it is compromised and pursuing politically motivated prosecutions. It’s time for the American people to wake up and see the truth. Trump is being unfairly targeted because he dared to stand up to the liberal establishment and fight for the rights of everyday Americans. We must stand with him and defend our freedoms before it’s too late.
