President Trump is taking decisive action where others have faltered. As he addresses our military this Thanksgiving, he lays down a bold plan to confront a major threat to our safety: Venezuelan drug traffickers. While previous administrations have often turned a blind eye or danced around the issue, Trump is breaking the mold. He isn’t just talking; he’s ready to back his words with force.
With recent airstrikes successfully targeting drug boats plying the waters off our coast, Trump makes it clear that the cartels are feeling the heat. The message is clear—Trump won’t allow drug lords to continue their reign of terror, and he’s making significant strides. Drug trafficking by sea is reportedly down by 85%. Let’s give credit where it’s due: under this administration, the military is taking the fight directly to the enemy.
Now, the president’s commitment is even greater. He will soon turn his attention to stopping drug trafficking by land. It’s about time we see this level of determination! The liberal elite may want to sit back and discuss their feelings over coffee, but Trump understands that we need action. The American people want results, not empty promises and diplomatic niceties that don’t do anything to protect our borders or our communities.

We should remember that drug trafficking isn’t just a problem for Latin America—it directly impacts our streets and families. The opioids and other substances flowing into our country wreak havoc on lives, communities, and our economy. The question must be asked: why have Democrats been so hesitant to secure our borders and fight this plague? Their hypocrisy is astounding. While they preach about the importance of community safety, they seem to ignore the ongoing crisis fueled by unchecked drug trafficking. It’s a clear case of do as I say, not as I do.
As Trump moves to authorize ground troops to combat this threat, where will the left stand? Will they vilify our men and women in uniform as they have in the past, or will they finally recognize that this is a necessary fight? The realities are staring us in the face. We need strong, decisive leadership that prioritizes American lives over any globalist agenda.
Trump is doing what needs to be done. He’s not waiting around for bureaucratic red tape or limp-wristed negotiations. For too long, the drug crisis has been ignored while political elites play their games. The American people deserve leaders who will protect them, who understand that real action is necessary to stop the flow of drugs.
Are we really going to let the drug cartels operate freely? Should we let them continue to poison our communities? The answer is a resounding no. It’s time to stand firm, support our troops, and ensure our government is committed to fighting this crucial battle. Failure is not an option. The stakes are too high, and the future of our country depends on it.
