President Trump is cleaning house, and it’s about time. In a bold move, his administration has booted eight left-wing immigration judges from their cushy gigs in New York. These so-called judges, employed at the Manhattan headquarters of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, were notorious for their radical, activist rulings that watered down federal immigration laws. They were casualties of Trump’s sweeping purge aimed at restoring order and enforcing the law.
It’s a nationwide revolution against judicial activists who have no business meddling in American sovereignty. Since January, over 100 immigration judges have been shown the door, finally making way for jurists who will uphold our immigration system’s integrity. These judges were often responsible for rubber-stamping asylum claims, and one, in particular, was granting asylum at an alarming rate of nearly 90%. Such reckless leniency opens the floodgates for fraud and threatens national security.
Trump has fired or pushed out more than 100 immigration judges since January and just paused all asylum decisions.

Liberals, of course, are already crying foul. Their beloved judges, who prefer to legislate from the bench rather than uphold the law, are losing their spots. Tough luck. When leftist judges play politics with the law and put America last, it’s clear there’s no room for them on Trump’s team. This crackdown is a wake-up call for every jurist who thinks they can ride the activist bandwagon.
Judges choosing to play politics rather than defer to immigration law are doing a disservice to the American people. They are coddling criminals while risking public safety. It’s an affront to taxpayers and puts a strain on public resources. This is exactly why Trump’s clear-headed approach to immigration courts is desperately needed. Enough with the legal gymnastics that favor lawbreakers over lawful citizens.
Ultimately, the message is clear: judges who can’t stay in their lane and enforce existing laws need to find a new profession. Trump and his supporters aren’t afraid to take action. And if that means showing a few more activist judges the door, as they unleash rhetoric and excuses, so be it. America doesn’t need more bleeding-heart politics — it needs strong, unapologetic leadership. After all, isn’t it time our judges remember their true duty is to this nation?
