Trump’s Christmas Message Targets Trudeau Taxes and China’s Panama Canal Role

President-elect Donald Trump has once again stirred the pot with his holiday messages, this time aiming his Christmas cheer both at the “wonderful soldiers of China” and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau of Canada. In a spirited post on Truth Social, Trump highlighted China’s dubious role in operating the Panama Canal, emphasizing that these soldiers are “lovingly, but illegally” occupying a spot of historical significance to America. The mention of the 38,000 lives lost during the canal’s construction certainly adds a weighty undertone to his cheerful Christmas send-off, while he jabbed at the U.S. government’s continued financial commitment to it.

Trump hasn’t shied away from expressing his thoughts about the “exorbitant” transit fees charged by Panama, going so far as to threaten a retake of the canal if things don’t change. Apparently, a retake of a critical waterway isn’t off the table if Trump’s Christmas spirit doesn’t smooth things over. Who could forget the punchy humor from their past Mar-a-Lago meetings when Trump suggested with a wink that Canada could simply become the 51st state to dodge a hefty tariff? Trudeau might want to keep that in mind when he’s next reviewing taxes.

The Christmas card to Trudeau came with a subtle reminder that Canada’s tax burdens are much too high, but fear not, because if they joined the United States, their taxes would slashed by over 60%. Can you imagine how fast Canadian businesses would boom with that kind of fiscal encouragement? It’s a tantalizing thought, though Trudeau has become a frequent target for Trump’s branding, often designated as “Governor” instead of Prime Minister. A title change could make a fine stocking stuffer for the holidays, especially given Trump’s notion that Canadian taxes are rather scandalous.

However, the holiday spirit didn’t stop there. Trump also managed to extend a less-than-jolly greeting to the “Radical Left Lunatics.” He accused them of doing everything they can to obstruct the justice system and undermine elections while being notoriously hostile towards patriots and their political opposition. It appears the Christmas spirit aligns with a call to arms against those perceived threats to American values—because what’s more heartwarming than a good ol’ political roast during the festive season?

Finally, Trump took the time to lament the pardons handed out by what he referred to as “Sleepy Joe Biden” to some of the most violent criminals around. Instead of sending them holiday wishes, he decisively told them to “GO TO HELL!” If that doesn’t get one in the festive mood, it’s hard to say what will. With such fervor and gusto spilling into a season commonly filled with goodwill, Trump’s message embodies a blend of nostalgia and clarity—a reminder that the countdown to the next election is on, and he remains primed to Make America Great Again. Merry Christmas indeed!
