Founded in 1802 by Thomas Jefferson, the academy has produced some of the most distinguished figures in American history. Among its alumni are 77 Medal of Honor recipients, two U.S. Presidents (Eisenhower and Ulysses S. Grant), and towering military leaders like General Douglas MacArthur and General Norman Schwarzkopf.
