Mitchell, known for his conservative views, donated $5,000 to Maui relief efforts following the devastating fires that destroyed homes and claimed lives. But that’s not all. Mitchell also boldly declared that the fires were “man-made.”

After a close decision win against UFC veteran Dan Ige, Mitchell took the time to address the crowd and share his controversial beliefs. Holding a Bible in his hand, he voiced his concerns about the state of the world, particularly the fires in Hawaii. He expressed his love for the people of Hawaii and announced his donation to Ige, who had personal connections to the tragedy.

But Mitchell didn’t stop there. He went on to claim that the fires were a deliberate attempt to take land away from the native Hawaiians. In his view, this was a battle against the power of Satan, and he wanted Ige, a native Hawaiian himself, to lead the world in prayer against this evil force. To everyone’s surprise, they then proceeded to pray together in the Octagon.
Now, Mitchell has always been known for his outspoken nature and fearless attitude. In previous fights, he made headlines by shouting out former President Donald Trump and calling for an end to masking and lockdown policies during the COVID-19 pandemic. Some may applaud his courage to speak his mind, while others may find his views controversial.
