Importantly, Blanche did emphasize a distinction, deserving of respect in a landscape known for its sordid sensationalism. Victims’ identities will remain shielded from public view. This is a sensible balance between transparency for Trump’s mentions and a troubling tendency toward exploitation of victims’ pain.
Progressive journalists relish painting Trump with the broad brush of guilt-by-association. But Blanche was unequivocal: Trump’s name in these records doesn’t imply guilt. Those who thrive on pushing insinuations will no doubt continue their desperate search for smoke where there is no fire.
What stands out is the rare candor on display here. While others hide behind redactions and rhetoric, both Blanche and Trump are taking the unconventional route of transparency. Leftists love to throw stones from their glass houses, but the truth stands tall: this open approach shows that maybe it’s time to rethink who the real champions of accountability are.
Once again, the question arises: when will the left face their own double standards instead of spinning conspiracy webs around others? Perhaps, it’s time for their supposed wisdom to take a more honest look in the mirror.
