In Asheville, which felt the brunt of the hurricane’s wrath, a tremendous effort is underway, spearheaded by volunteers determined to provide warm holiday meals to those affected. Big companies like Lowe’s have stepped up significantly, dishing out an impressive 3,000 Thanksgiving meals in the area. They didn’t just stop there; they also hired local restaurant workers who found themselves out of a job due to the hurricane’s destruction. Now that’s a remarkable way to support the community!
