Despite Biden’s refusal to take a cognitive test and mounting concerns about his mental acuity, Goldberg boldly declared that she doesn’t care if he’s “pooped his pants” or struggles to put a sentence together – she’s still firmly in his corner.
Goldberg’s unwavering support for Biden, regardless of his potential shortcomings, drew both laughter from the audience and criticism from those who believe the country deserves a leader who is mentally fit for the job. Her argument that everyone has “poopy days” and that Biden deserves loyalty as long as he can perform his duties seemed to minimize the seriousness of the situation.

The conservative perspective on Goldberg’s comments is one of disbelief and concern. Goldberg’s assertion that removing Biden from the ballot would be a difficult and messy process is acknowledged by conservatives, but it doesn’t change the underlying concern about his fitness for office. The idea that Democrats would continue to support Biden even if he demonstrated severe cognitive decline or physical issues is seen as a reflection of the deep-seated animosity towards former President Trump rather than a genuine concern for the country’s future.
