The Democrats have once again shown their true colors by blocking the SAVE Act, a bill that would require proof of citizenship to vote in American elections. Chuck Schumer, grinning like the Cheshire cat, announced the bill as “dead on arrival” in the Senate. Of course, they don’t want it to pass. That would mean ensuring only citizens have a say in one of the most important democratic acts—voting.
Let’s ask the real question here: Why are the Democrats so scared of voter ID laws? They claim these laws are discriminatory. But do they object as loudly when IDs are needed to buy alcohol, board a plane, or even check into a hotel? No, they don’t make a peep. Their outrage is selective and opportunistic. It’s almost as if they want to keep the voter rolls muddied with illegal votes and questionable practices. Now, isn’t that the real discrimination—against lawful American citizens?

Instead, they rely on emotional manipulation and false outrage.
America deserves better. Our electoral system should be protected just like our borders. Yet, Democrats fight tooth and nail against even the simplest of safeguards. Think about it: If you had a guest list for a party, would you let anyone walk in off the street? Of course not. Voting is a privilege for Americans, and it should be as secure as it is sacred.
It’s time to call out this hypocrisy for what it is. It’s not racist to want fair elections; it’s American. Why should we let the ruling liberal elite dictate the terms of what should be a fundamentally straightforward issue? We deserve leaders with the guts to back this bill, not those who surrender our voting system to chaos and corruption.
