Why Trump’s Bold Move on Iran Could Be the Game Changer America Needs

It’s time to call a spade a spade. The so-called experts and political elites continue their mishandling of the volatile situation in Iran. As President Trump decisively ordered military action to take out Iran’s nuclear program over the weekend, the topic of toppling the Iranian regime is once again front and center. Why should Americans tolerate a belligerent regime with nuclear ambitions when we can support change that aligns with liberty and American interests?

Trump rightfully asks the tough questions. The politically correct crowd shivers at the term “regime change,” yet they’re the same crowd that shrugs as Iran’s leaders wantonly pursue nuclear capabilities. This isn’t about imposing American values but protecting American lives and interests. The administration can dance around the issue, but the ultimate necessity seems clear: a change that deters threats.

Israel has not hesitated to take bold action, eliminating top Iranian military figures recently. They recognize what the West’s bureaucratic liberal apologists do not: a regime focused on destruction and oppression will never align with global peace. Israel’s actions are a good preview of what standing up for principled security looks like.

Before the radical regime in Iran took over in 1979, the country had a rich friendship with the United States and Israel. Those were years when diplomacy and common interests formed the basis of international relations—not the dangerous ambitions of tyrannical leaders. A different Iranian leadership could usher in a future where friendship and cooperation win over hostility.

Possibly the question shouldn’t be whether Iran’s regime changes, but when. We’ve seen the charade of endless appeasement and how it always fails. Those who refuse to see that must ask themselves: when will enough be enough? The answer should be soon. America’s future depends on it.
