Those who’ve been Biden’s trusty donors are shaking their heads, wallets staying blatantly shut, envisioning a future library as a mere “bookmobile” rollin’ down the road rather than a grand edifice of Biden’s “glorious” legacy.
What’s unfolding here is a poetic justice we can all get behind. Not only has Biden managed to steer his party’s ship straight into an iceberg, but he’s got his own donors eyeing the lifeboats. The curtain’s falling fast on this lackluster show. Will Biden ever see a ground-breaking ceremony for his library? Probably right after pigs fly, as enthusiastic Democrat support fades quicker than Biden’s stammering speeches. Perhaps America will wise up and leave the Democrats’ failed legacy where it belongs—rotting in obscurity. Would it be such a tragedy if the only library dedicated to Biden’s presidency was a portable one? After all he’s done to the country, it would be a fitting farewell.
