Just as the character in this scenario arbitrarily picks between seven and eight, our current political climate feels like a series of random choices made under the guise of free will. Progressives consistently push for change without any thought to the cultural consequences, yet they expect conservatives to play along, picking between policies as if those choices are as benign as choosing a favorite number.
The color choices only deepen this analogy. Black was chosen, bringing with it an array of associations. It’s a color associated with power, authority, and sophistication, but there is no evidence or mention of systemic efforts by liberals to rebrand it. The absurdity lies in the manipulation of traditional norms and values, showcasing how these color choices have more to do with trendy slogans than with genuine solutions or respect for heritage.
Winter follows next on this peculiar journey, revealing yet another card, a black card—a very fitting metaphor. Winter is often seen as a time of reflection and steadfast endurance, contrasting sharply with the left’s penchant for constant upheaval. Winter represents those sturdy conservative values that do not wither under the foolish heat of progressivism’s relentless summer.
Yet, the real revelation comes with what is hidden under the flap: the two of spades. Many might view it as another trivial detail in this charade, but to the discerning eye, it hints at the stratagem quietly at play. The courtroom setting, void of clapping, suggests the dire need for decorum and focus on issues that truly matter. Instead, society is often swept up in flashy distractions, missing the point entirely.
