Abbott Takes Charge as Biden Admin Whines Over Border Control

As the southern border continues to be a hot mess, Texas Governor Greg Abbott is not sitting on his hands and waiting for the Biden administration to clean up their mess. The audacity! The White House is all in a tizzy, calling Abbott’s recent actions an “extreme” interference with their border plans. They’re even threatening legal action because, you know, that’s how grown-ups handle things apparently.

The White House press secretary, Karine Jean-Pierre, is getting her feathers all ruffled, squawking about how Abbott is “blocking” Border Patrol and making their jobs “more dangerous” with his pesky razor wire installation. She’s all like, “He’s taking away the duties of what the Border Patrol is supposed to do. And so, it’s a problem.” Well, excuse us, Ms. Jean-Pierre, but maybe if the Border Patrol actually did their job, Governor Abbott wouldn’t have to step in and do it for them!

Can you believe that Texas officials are “preventing” Border Patrol from doing their job in a 2.5-mile stretch of the border? The nerve! And apparently, Abbott’s soldiers didn’t let Border Patrol into an area after they were notified that some poor souls were drowning in the river. But hey, details, right? Who needs ’em!

The White House is all up in arms about Abbott’s so-called “extreme political stunts” and saying that he’s “demonizing and dehumanizing” people. Really? Last time anyone checked, Abbott was just trying to protect his state from the chaos that the Biden administration seems to be perfectly content to ignore.

While the White House and the Lone Star State duke it out like a couple of kids in a sandbox, it’s clear that something needs to be done about the border crisis. But until the grown-ups start acting like grown-ups, Governor Abbott seems to be the only one willing to stand up and take charge. Keep on keepin’ on, Governor! The country needs more leaders like you.
