Rep. Ilhan Omar, a member of the group called The Squad, has recently faced criticism from the Anti-Defamation League for her comments on Jewish students. The Anti-Defamation League accused her of spreading a harmful lie, calling it a "blood libel".
Omar stated during a visit to Columbia University that Jewish students are either “pro-genocide” or “anti-genocide.” It is troubling and unfair to label any group in such a way based on their beliefs. It is important to treat all individuals with respect, regardless of their backgrounds or beliefs.
