TEMU, the latest shopping site that promises big discounts, is causing quite a stir on the internet. But before you get too excited about those low prices, you might want to think twice. New information has emerged that shows TEMU has some serious issues when it comes to data privacy.
According to Grizzly Research, a market research company, TEMU has the ability to take sensitive information from your phone and send it back to its Chinese parent company, PinDuoDuo. This means they could be accessing your banking data and credit card information without your knowledge or consent. And if you thought TikTok was bad, TEMU makes it look like an innocent angel.
It’s not just a coincidence that China recently banned its government employees from using Apple iPhones. They know exactly how dangerous these apps can be. The Chinese government has been using apps like TikTok to spy on American citizens for years, and TEMU seems to be part of their latest scheme.
In an interview with CNBC, Grizzly Research’s CEO revealed that TEMU is not only collecting user data but also hiding its malicious intent. They suspect that TEMU may even be illegally selling stolen data to sustain its failing business model. In other words, TEMU is not just a shopping app, it’s a data mining operation disguised as a discount store.
BEWARE of Temu!! It's ultimately owned by company in China, tracks you online, malware also. Delete might not be enough, some are saying you need a factory reset. DO NOT INSTALL THAT APP.

But it doesn’t stop there. TEMU’s parent company, PinDuoDuo, has already had one of its apps removed from the Google Play store due to similar privacy concerns. And when you look at their business model, it’s clear that they are more interested in your personal information than selling products. They are willing to lose money on every order if it means getting you to download their app and hand over your data.
TEMU has been wildly successful in its strategy, with over 100 million app downloads in the last nine months. It’s clear that China wants as many Americans and Europeans as possible to download this app, but they don’t want anyone in China to have access to it. This is just another example of the Chinese Communist Party’s invasive tactics.
It’s time to delete TEMU and protect yourself from this data-hungry app. As the saying goes, if it looks too good to be true, it probably is. So don’t be fooled by the promise of low prices. TEMU is just another tool in China’s extensive spying operation. Let’s not be their unwitting accomplices.
