The Biden administration sure knows how to keep us on our toes. Just when you think they couldn’t come up with any more disastrous decisions, they actually announce a good one—building a wall to help solve the border crisis. It’s great to see them finally catching on to something that former President Donald Trump had been advocating for years.
Who would’ve thought that a wall could actually be a solution to illegal immigration? It’s a shame that nobody ever thought of that before… oh wait, someone did! But I guess it’s better late than never.
The Department of Homeland Security has announced that they are waiving 26 federal laws in South Texas to allow for border wall construction. It’s ironic that President Biden, who ended Trump’s efforts to build a wall, is now implementing the same idea. Not only that, but he’s also waiving environmental laws in the process. This is the same president who lectures us about the importance of environmental issues and climate change. Hypocrisy at its finest.

Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas has stated that there is an urgent need to construct physical barriers and roads in order to prevent unlawful entries into the United States. It’s interesting to note that this “acute and immediate need” is happening under Biden’s watch. It seems like he’s welcoming the surge in illegal immigrants rather than addressing the issue head-on.
Former President Trump wasted no time in responding to this apparent about-face by Biden. He reminded everyone that he was right all along and that his administration had already built close to 500 miles of a powerful new wall on the border. It’s a shame that Biden’s decisions have turned our country into a sanctuary for dangerous criminals.
Sen. Ted Cruz summed up the situation perfectly with just two words: “Build it.” It’s clear that we need a strong border to protect our country and enforce our immigration laws.
All in all, it’s refreshing to see the Biden administration finally coming up with a good idea. Let’s hope they continue down this path and prioritize the security and sovereignty of our nation.
