President Joe Biden’s administration is back at it again with their obsession with diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). This time, they’re shelling out big bucks for a DEI director to join their team. The salary for this gig? A cool $95,000 to $120,000 annually. A cushy job if you ask me!
The job posting for this oh-so-important position is all about “attracting and supporting diverse talent” and “educating campaign staff around DEI.” Sounds like a whole lot of jargon for hiring someone to promote more of the same old, same old.

Not only that, but the lucky individual who lands this gig will get to work with external partners like the Democratic National Committee and implement DEI-focused workshops. It’s like a DEI party, and everyone’s invited!
Of course, this move is right in line with Biden’s DEI obsession. He’s been pushing this agenda since he entered the Oval Office, but let’s not forget that similar initiatives have been getting the boot during his time in office. It’s a classic case of “do as I say, not as I do.”
And let’s not forget the backlash that DEI programs have been facing. Some folks, like hedge fund guru Bill Ackman and the one and only Elon Musk, have been speaking out against it. They argue that these programs are just reverse racism in disguise, and who can blame them? After all, shouldn’t qualifications matter more than the color of one’s skin?
In academia, the DEI movement has been meeting resistance as well. Recently, the University of Texas at Austin announced layoffs in relation to DEI measures, all thanks to Texas banning DEI positions at public universities. And the University of Florida? They’re packing up their DEI offices too, thanks to a similar law in the Sunshine State.
When reached out for comment, the Biden campaign was predictably silent. What’s new? It’s just another day in the world of partisan politics, and the DEI circus continues to roll on.
