The narrative spun by the Biden administration continues to lose its grip on reality. Recently, White House spokesperson and official purveyor of press briefings, Karine Jean-Pierre, has taken it upon herself to declare that facts, particularly those endorsed by President Biden, are now being categorized as “misinformation.” This innovative approach to facts is reminiscent of a fantastical game of Twister, where the rules change based on the player’s whims.
Jean-Pierre’s performance is part of what can only be described as an escalating effort to reshape the narrative surrounding anything that doesn’t fit snugly within the Left’s carefully curated storyline. When facts, especially uncomfortable ones, are disregarded and labeled as misinformation, one must wonder what the Biden administration will twist next. Maybe the sun rises in the west? It’s hard to say, but if it serves the narrative, anything is possible.

Conveniently, facts seem to be determined not by their truthfulness but by their usefulness.
As any good student of logic knows, the only way to strengthen an argument is to have a foundation in facts. Yet this administration appears to be opting for the alternative route, trying to convince Americans that the sky is orange whenever it looks blue. Such a strategy, although entertaining, ultimately leads to confusion and distrust among the populace. After all, who could trust a government that teaches them to disregard what their eyes can plainly see?
In the end, the term “misinformation” is swiftly becoming the latest political weapon in the Biden arsenal, wielded carelessly by Jean-Pierre and company in their ongoing fight against reality. For the average American trying to make sense of the chaos, the mixed messages and wonky logic present only further highlight the need for a dose of some good old-fashioned common sense.
