Liberals, get ready to roll your eyes because it looks like the border crisis under the Biden administration is breaking records faster than you can say “open borders.” According to reliable sources at Customs and Border Protection (CBP), the month of December surpassed all previous records for the number of illegal immigrants sneaking into the United States. Can you believe it? A whopping 276,000 individuals thought they could just waltz right in and not face any consequences. That’s the highest number of encounters ever recorded in a single month, beating the previous record set just last September.

And here’s the cherry on top of this border crisis sundae: the total encounters for the current fiscal year, starting from October 1, have skyrocketed to over 760,000. That’s right, folks. The Biden border crisis is showing no signs of slowing down. But where’s Biden, you ask? Well, he’s off enjoying a luxurious vacation on St. Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands, while Vice President Kamala Harris, the so-called “Border Czar,” is kicking back in California. It seems like the only thing they’re working hard at is avoiding the real issues plaguing our southern border.
And if you thought the Biden administration might start taking this crisis seriously, think again. While states like Texas are stepping up to enforce border security, the feds are doing the exact opposite. First, they sent federal officials to tear down Texas’ border barriers, and now the Department of Justice is threatening to sue Texas over its strict new border security law. You heard that right. The administration would rather sue Texas for trying to do the job that the federal government should be doing: apprehending and deporting illegal immigrants.
But wait, there’s more. While the Biden administration officials took a little jaunt to Mexico, they failed to make any agreements to address the increasing flow of migrants heading to the U.S.-Mexico border. And don’t get them started on Mexico’s role in all of this. They’re issuing humanitarian visas to migrants and basically giving them a free pass to make a beeline for the U.S. border. As if that’s not enough, there’s a massive caravan of over 15,000 people heading our way, with 11,000 already amassed at the border. It’s a free-for-all, thanks to the lackluster efforts (if you can even call them efforts) of the Biden administration.
And just when you thought it couldn’t get any worse, federal border officials are cagey about releasing the official data because it contradicts the White House’s narrative that everything is hunky-dory at the border. Even when they do release the numbers, they try to sneak it past everyone with a Friday-before-Christmas news dump.
