On Saturday, President Biden gave yet another speech that promoted the LGBT+ agenda, with little regard for the controversy surrounding medical procedures for minors that involve genital mutilation and sterilization. However, the real offense occurred outside the White House, where the LGBT+ pride flag was displayed alongside the American flag. Not only did Biden tweet about it from his official account, but he also violated the U.S. Flag Code, which clearly states that “no other flag or pennant” should be placed above or to the right of the American flag.

What’s even more heinous is that the American flag represents all the men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our nation, while the LGBT+ pride flag represents nothing but a radical leftist agenda. When commentator Ben Shapiro pointed this out, failed Kentucky candidate Amy McGrath tried to shame him for not serving in the military, which is a deflection from the real issue at hand. The White House’s display was simply disrespectful to the brave men and women who died for our country.

This event follows a pattern of Biden’s administration pandering to the LGBT movement. They recently released a fact-sheet touting their actions to cater to this group, and Biden’s official account has a banner photo celebrating “Happy PRIDE Month,” along with four other texts about celebrating Pride. The obsession with promoting irreversible procedures for transgender children, under the guise of “gender-affirming” or “lifesaving” care, is also disturbing. Polling shows that Americans widely oppose biological boys being allowed to play sports with girls or be prescribed puberty blockers, yet Biden continues to push this agenda despite the outcry from the public.
Biden’s remarks during a rare press conference left much to be desired as well, particularly when addressing families of children with gender dysphoria. It was an embarrassing offering that showed just how little regard this administration has for the American people. It’s time for Biden to prioritize the needs of all Americans, rather than just the radical left-wing elements of his base.
