President Joe Biden made his way down to the U.S.-Mexico border for just the second time, choosing to visit Brownsville, Texas – a spot known for having a slower rate of illegal immigrant activity. How typical of Biden to pick the least troublesome spot to visit instead of facing the real issues head-on! He even took the opportunity to throw shade at Congress, blaming them for failing to pass border initiatives. Classic political blame game from the President.

Meanwhile, former President Donald Trump was also at the border, in Eagle Pass, Texas, alongside Governor Greg Abbott. Trump, always vigilant about border security, made his presence known where it mattered most. Unlike Biden, Trump didn’t shy away from the real hotspots. Kudos to him for being proactive in trying to address the ongoing crisis.
Biden, in his true form, started his trip by talking about climate change – because, of course, why focus on the actual border crisis when you can talk about wildfires instead, right? It seems like everything is a distraction for Biden these days. The Democrats sure love to dodge the tough questions and deflect to other issues.
With Biden’s administration receiving backlash for their handling of the border crisis, it’s no surprise that they chose to visit a sector with fewer apprehensions. It’s all about smoke and mirrors with this administration. Always trying to make things look better than they actually are. As for the ongoing debate in Congress, it’s clear that Biden is more focused on pushing through his agenda rather than actually addressing the problems at hand. It’s disappointing but sadly not unexpected.
The border policy under Biden has been a mess, to say the least. With record numbers of migrant encounters and security concerns, it’s evident that the current administration lacks a coherent plan. Maybe instead of talking about climate change, Biden should focus on keeping the country secure and addressing the real issues affecting Americans. But hey, what do I know – I’m just a conservative commentator rolling their eyes at the circus in Washington.
