President Biden's recent speech at the reception celebrating Greek Independence Day has drawn criticism from the conservative crowd, and with good reason. Many see the President's remarks as nothing more than predictable pandering to the Greek American community, leaving conservatives shaking their heads in disbelief.
Following an introduction from Archbishop Elpidophoros of America, Biden made a bold claim, suggesting that his ability to stand before the audience was solely due to the support of the Greek community. He went further by implying that every Greek American in Delaware had voted for him, and even coined a nickname for himself, "Joe Bidenopolous," a move that many view as shameless pandering.

Adding insult to injury, Biden boasted about his purportedly close relationship with the Greek American community, asserting a deep connection "in the heart, and…in the church there, as well." This isn't the first time he's engaged in such behavior. In 2012, during a campaign stop, he approached a table of men, declaring himself as "Joe Bidenopoulos" and making dubious claims about his Greek heritage, despite lacking any Greek ancestry.
Biden's attempts to ingratiate himself with the Greek American community are seen by many as transparent and insincere. Conservatives view his shameless pandering and questionable claims about his ties to the Greek community with skepticism. It's no surprise that the conservative crowd is denouncing this blatant effort to curry favor with a specific demographic.
