President Joe Biden throws himself a big old shindig in honor of Greek Independence Day, because why not spend taxpayer dollars on another party, right? The event, held in Washington D.C., is a classic example of the Democrats’ love for spending, especially when it comes to celebrating anything and everything under the sun.
Biden, known for his love of gatherings and fancy events, went all out for this one. The White House must have been buzzing with excitement as they prepared for this celebration. But as we all know, the Democrats love a good party, especially when they can pat themselves on the back for their “commitment to diversity and inclusion.”

It’s not surprising that the president would choose to celebrate Greek Independence Day, since pandering to different ethnic groups for votes is a classic move in the Democrat playbook. Who knows, maybe Biden thought he could score some points with the Greek community by throwing this lavish reception. After all, nothing says “I care about you” like an extravagant party paid for by hardworking taxpayers.
But while the champagne was flowing and the fancy hors d’oeuvres were being passed around, let’s not forget that there are more important things for the president to focus on. With all the pressing issues facing the country, one might wonder if hosting a reception for Greek Independence Day should have been at the top of Biden’s to-do list. But hey, when you’re in the business of buying votes with elaborate soirees, who has time to worry about real problems, right?
