In a stunning revelation that could easily be mistaken for a reality TV show twist, President Biden inadvertently threw his Vice President Kamala Harris under the bus during an appearance on The View. It seems the President finally acknowledged what conservative Americans have known all along: Kamala is just as responsible for the administration’s laundry list of failures as he is. Biden put it bluntly, claiming that there wasn’t a single duty he performed that Harris could not have tackled herself. In other words, the administration’s disasters are a team effort, folks!
Biden was clearly feeling generous while he stumped for Harris. Instead of pulling her up on a pedestal, he appeared to say, “Hey, if you want to blame someone for crime skyrocketing, record inflation, and an open southern border, don’t forget to include my right-hand woman in that mix.” Delegating responsibilities, it turns out, is not just for the office copier; it’s also a way to package excuses for every policy blunder that has characterized the last few years.
When is someone going to call her on all the lies??
Did Joe Biden Really Just Say That About Kamala Harris? https://t.co/jwbXFPix9l

This little faux pas directly contradicts Harris’s attempts to distance herself from anything remotely tied to the administration’s failures. Not long ago, she tried to carve out her own identity, reminding everyone that she is not Joe Biden and certainly not Donald Trump, as if that was a persuasive argument in her favor. But after Biden blurted out the truth, her insistence that she represents a new wave of leadership looks as shaky as the economy she claims to be addressing.
Political commentator Megyn Kelly aptly noted that Harris can’t have it both ways. Either she was the dynamo in the room supporting Biden’s plans or she was just a bystander who deserves none of the blame. Mixing tough-guy bravado with finger-pointing is not a great look for a prospective commander-in-chief, yet here she is, attempting to walk that tightrope with all the grace of a two-left-footed dancer.
Despite her attempts to rebrand, the problem for Harris is that she’s clinging to policies that mirror Biden’s, especially when it comes to taxes. Her economic strategy seems to involve an extended remix of Joe’s plan, which critics argue will hit anyone making over $400,000—essentially moderate Americans in many cases—right where it hurts. With small businesses facing crippling tax increases and potential layoffs looming, it’s hard to see how her “new ideas” are anything more than repackaged failures. Yet, she continues to insist that her proposals focus on the future, as if ignoring the present troubles will magically make them go away.
So while Biden may have inadvertently thrown Kamala under the proverbial bus, her attempts to emerge as a unique candidate seem naive at best. With crime, inflation, and border crises all casualties of their shared leadership, it might be time for Harris to reconsider her strategy. When the boss lets you take the fall, sometimes the best plan is to just hang out in the backseat and hope nobody notices.
