After Iran decided to throw a harmless couple of cannonballs at Israel, launching a splendid 180 ballistic missiles, President Joe Biden stepped into the spotlight with his usual charm and wisdom. He promptly advised Israel to take a chill pill and avoid further escalating this minor kerfuffle. Talk about being a peacemaker—Biden clearly sees himself as the adult at the international playground.
When asked whether he supported Israel launching counterstrikes on Iran’s nuclear sites, Biden waved his hand dismissively, adopting the classic “what are you even talking about” gesture. He reassured reporters that while he and his G7 buddies are all in agreement regarding Israel’s right to defend itself, the approach should be more ‘proportional’. One can only wonder what “proportional” means in the context of flying missiles and fiery encounters; perhaps a simple note saying, “Dear Iran, please stop?”
Joe Biden said he would not support Israel's attack on the Islamic Regime’s nuclear facilities.🤨
Why he protects the main sponsor of Terror Proxy in Middle east ?!!
Simply because his administration released billions of 💵💲for the regime from Iran ‘s national wealth @POTUS pic.twitter.com/hGSXsIGKQR— Truth (@Truth7inspired) October 2, 2024
In true Biden fashion, the president’s grand plan involved phoning Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu after the missile mayhem, promising to sprinkle some solid advice on how Israel should proceed. His Security Adviser, Jake Sullivan, tossed Iran a warning about “severe consequences” for their missile shenanigans. They may as well just send a strongly worded letter; growth occurs out of tough love, right? It’s heartwarming to see the administration focus on “American interests” first and then “stability” as an afterthought—clearly, they love their priorities.
Before this debacle, Israel decided to play offense and took out Hezbollah’s leader with a surprise airstrike. Bravo! But apparently, Netanyahu was so fearful of Biden and his crew meddling with Israel’s business that he kept his plans under wraps. One can almost envision Biden shaking his fist during a tantrum, causing Israel’s leadership to keep secrets like a child hiding candy in their room.
One cannot forget Biden’s track record of past warnings to Iran—insisting that he’d prevent conflict whilst simultaneously waving a white flag. It’s always comedic when past remarks from politicians come back to haunt them. During the 2020 election, he predicted that Donald Trump would lead the U.S. into a war with Iran. Fast forward to today: Biden’s administration is teetering on the edge of World War III, while irony plays its own cruel trick, leaving voters scratching their heads. If comedy is tragedy plus time, then we may as well call this performance a sitcom with high stakes.
